Our Program

Here's exactly what your support builds.

Closets stocked with real clothes. Boxes packed with real essentials. A grant that changes what's possible for one mom a year. This is where the mission lives.

S.M.A.R.T. Foundation closets have one goal.

No mom should have to choose basic necessities

S.M.A.R.T. Closets are free stores stocked with real clothing, shoes, and school supplies — no appointment, no paperwork, no judgment. A mom walks in, or a S.M.A.R.T. Box comes to her, packed with what her family needs that season.

What's inside a SMART closet

  • Clothing for kids and moms, seasonal

  • Shoes

  • School supplies

  • Interview and work outfits

  • Sports and activity gear

  • Household and hygiene essentials

BuildHER Grant

One mom. One year. A chance to build bigger.

The BuildHER Grant is a significant award plus mentorship, given once a year to a mom who's ready to build something for her family — a business, a credential, a next chapter. It goes to the mom who earns too much to qualify for most aid and not enough to get ahead on her own.

Community Support Initiatives

Strong communities are built when neighbors show up for one another. Our initiatives focus on meeting real, local needs through practical action.

  • Food security: Pantries, meal drives, and grocery support for families in need.

  • Youth and education: Mentorship, tutoring, and school supply drives.

  • Health and wellbeing: Wellness workshops and support for seniors and vulnerable residents.

  • Volunteering: Clean-ups, neighborhood projects, and skills-sharing events open to all.

Fundraising

Fundraising keeps these initiatives running, with every dollar going toward programs and services that make a visible difference.

  • Events: Charity runs, community dinners, and benefit concerts.

  • Online giving: One-time or monthly donations and peer-to-peer campaigns.

  • Local partnerships: Sponsorships, matching gifts, and in-kind donations from businesses.

  • Impact reporting: Regular updates showing where funds go and what they achieve.

Whether you give, volunteer, or spread the word, you help build a stronger community.
