To aid single moms by providing resources & assistance to help them provide for their children, so they do not have to do without.
The S.M.A.R.T Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting single mothers and their children. Our mission is to raise funds and provide essential resources such as food, clothing, and other necessities to single moms facing challenges.


We serve as a valuable resource for single mothers by offering assistance in finding child care, transportation, education, job opportunities, and more.
We believe in empowering single mothers to access the support they need to thrive and provide for their children.

Nicole Guzzardi
Nicole Guzzardi, Founder, affectionately known as the "Boss Babe," co-owns AG Construction Company with her boyfriend, real estate investor Billy Alvaro. Together, they are spearheading real estate developments across New Jersey, New York, and are now expanding to other states.

Nadia Mascola
At the age of 19, Nadia Mascola, found herself pregnant with her first daughter. She had limited resources and found herself lost in the shuffle of figuring out what, if any, guidance she could receive at that time. At the age of 22, after giving birth to her second daughter, she found herself a single parent. At the time, she was very dependent on her family and friends as a support system for her and her children while she attended trade school. During that time and after the completion of trade school, she grew to become self-reliant and gained newfound financial freedom.

Oriana Calise
Oriana Calise, a wife & mother of four teenagers who bring both chaos and immense joy into her life. Together with her husband, she co-owns Caliber Construction NY & NJ. Oriana also finds solace in baking classic Brooklyn-style treats. She Has recently decided to open up a Cafe in Howell NJ Called Jives Cafe. Despite facing continuous life challenges, she approaches life with unwavering optimism and a determination to uplift those around her. Her daughter Brooklyn holds a special place in her heart, symbolizing hope and resilience. Each of her sons, William, Steven, and Christian, contributes to her world in unique ways, from their involvement in the family business to pursuing academic and personal passions. Recently recognized for the Most Inspirational Women of the Year award, Oriana is also a published Author & continues to inspire others with her infectious positivity and unwavering commitment to making a difference.

Danielle Vaphides
Treasurer
Danielle is a single mother and accomplished executive at a top-tier consulting firm, where she leads with a commitment to excellence, innovation, and purpose. With years of experience navigating complex business challenges, she brings a unique blend of strategic insight and empathetic leadership to her work. Her journey—balancing the demands of a high-powered career with raising three teenagers—has fueled her passion for creating more inclusive and sustainable environments for working parents, especially women.
A strong advocate for mental wellness, Danielle is deeply committed to breaking down stigma and fostering open conversations about emotional health in both personal and professional spaces. She integrates wellness practices into her leadership approach, championing balance, resilience, and self-awareness as key pillars of success. Her ability to lead with compassion while driving results makes her a respected voice in both her industry and community.
Beyond her corporate role, Danielle leads a technology women’s group dedicated to supporting women in STEM and empowering women at every stage of their careers. She is also the owner of Snapjoy Studios, a photobooth rental company where their mission is to capture the joy of your event, one snap at a time ! She runs the company along with her 3 children hoping to teach them about business, finances, and time management while bringing joy to others.
In her free time, Danielle finds joy and creative expression through ballroom dance. As a Bronze 2 dancer, she spends as much time as she can at the studio and is working toward a goal of entering the competitive dance circuit in 2026. Whether she’s at work, with her family, or on the dance floor, Danielle brings energy, intention, and heart into everything she does.
